Roving Reporter World Cup Update

That’s it we have reached it, the final two days of competition. Finals weekend.

Despite a setback against Australia (well they are the world number one!), England have qualified for the semi-finals at the 2015 Netball World Cup.

Since Wednesday, the team have effectively been playing knock-out netball, a loss for the Roses would almost have certainly ended their medal chances.

They managed to get the better of Wales in a home nations clash before seeing off a spirited South Africa side to reach the final four.

It will have to be an early rise for our fans back in the UK as the match-up against the New Zealand Silver Ferns will have a shockingly early start time of 3:20am! Make sure the Mrs Crimble's cereal bars are well stocked up for a pre-dawn breakfast! Whatever the outcome, the Roses will be battling for a medal in the early hours of Sunday morning so make sure you are following us and sending your good luck messages to the squad.

There have been many highlights in the World Cup so far, from the incredible performances of the smaller nations to the fabulous fancy dress in the stands. One particular highlight has been the lip sync battles between the nations; check out England’s attempt online if you get the chance. You won’t be able to see Jo, Serena, Rachel and Geva in the same light ever again!

Join us and Unite in Red for the final push and don't forget to tune in next week for the post World Cup round up!
