Roses Quest For World Championship Glory Begins

With the Netball World Cup underway in Sydney, the England Roses have not disappointed in their performances so far. Following their first three matches of the 2015 Netball World Cup, the mighty Roses have indeed united in red to finish first in their pool.

The first match against Scotland was a brilliant performance and a straight forward win, 60-19. The Roses were then onto the second preliminary match, this time against Jamaica. It was a closely fought, more physical match than the previous. However, again England were victorious with a 54-50 result putting the Roses in a great position to face Samoa in the third of the preliminary matches.

The match against Samoa finished 85-34, securing England’s position at the top of the pool.

The England team progress onto the next round to face World Cup Champions Australia on 11.08 at 11.20 BST, televised on Sky Sports.
