Mrs Crimble’s Chairman, Bill Mapstone, left earlier this week on a quest to circumnavigate Africa via Cape Town in a light aircraft in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign. This epic quest will see him cover 15,000 miles in 6 weeks, visiting 20 countries along the way.

Having left the UK on 13 January 2015, Bill and his co-pilot, Des, will follow a route to Cape Town via. France, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Madagascar and Mozambique – arriving in South Africa around 1 February 2015. The return leg will commence around 6 February 2015 when he will leave the Western Cape and return travelling via Namibia, Angola, Congo, Principe, Cameroon, Chad, Niger, Algeria, France back to the UK.

Bill hopes to raise up to £100,000 through a combination of private and corporate sponsors to donate to Breast Cancer Campaign. We’ll be posting updates and pictures of the trip here for you to follow.
