A brief history...

The company was started over 20 years ago selling Biscuits/Cookies under the Mrs Crimble's brand name. Long before the days of celebrity chef product ranges the Mrs Crimble's range of 'Home Recipe Biscuits' the brand was endorsed by Fanny Craddock who was shown on the packaging to claim 'they're the very best'. However, today Mrs Crimble's are well known for their range of wheat free, gluten free, and dairy free products. We've lost none of our attention to quality over the years and feel sure that today we would still find favour with Fanny's tastebuds.

And now, we've launched our own Mrs Crimble's Fresh Gluten Free Bread, with all the taste and quality that you would expect from Mrs Crimble's together with the characteristics of normal bread. This is a very exciting development in our company's history.

Originally we started life selling our products in London from the back of a small fleet of vans. The products were displayed on racks and re-stocked every four weeks by a visiting salesman with a van full of goodies. Today we can be found in all good independent farm shops, health stores and delicatessens and more recently on the 'Free From' or speciality sections of the more well known supermarkets. Through a series a helpful distributors our products can found throughout the UK and Ireland. If you come across one of our delicious cakes or biscuits in a shop but not the particular one you require it's always best to ask the manager or owner to order in your favourite.

Mrs Crimbles supports Coeliac UK, the leading charity working for people with coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis (DH).
